Under the post-2015 process will be held from 7 to 10 February 2013, at Djeuga Palace Hotel Yaounde-Cameroon the AFRICAN YOUTH PANEL CENTRAL AFRICAN REGIONAL SUMMIT.
The event which was held under the theme "The Post 2015 Agenda: How can Young
People be placed at the Heart of Regional Development "aims to develop an overview of different perspectives related to current debates on sustainable development and post-2015.
The conference is organized by the ASSOCIATION JEUNESSE ESPOIR DU CAMEROUN, AFRICAN YOUTH PANEL in collaboration with YOUNG VOLUNTEERS FOR THE ENVIRONMENT CAMEROON.
General
1.
All African countries who share common understanding/goals with AYP are
eligible to have representation in the African Youth Panel. However, this
application only applies to members in the Central African Region.
2.
Successful candidates shall be orientated at Regional meetings and inaugurated
at the General Assembly. The Central African Regional Meeting Shall be held
from the 08th -10th February, 2013.
3.
All members have access to the AYP Compendium which stipulates in detail the
code of conduct and other membership procedures.
Candidate Specifications
In order to
be considered for membership, the candidate must meet the following
requirements;
· Be between
18 and 35 years old
· Must be from
a country within the Central African Region and is active or has demonstrated
interest in the key areas of AYP
·Have at
least two years’ experience or otherwise have been engaged in promoting local,
national or international development.
· Have
knowledge about the challenges Africa is facing today and views about the
future development of the continent
· Applications
should be submitted in French or English. However, applications done in other
languages should be translated before submission.

the Application Form to be filled in by the applicant on the next page.
